The sensor has 3 range gears (L, M, H). Install below 8.2ft to reduce blind spots. As an infrared sensor, its sensitivity/range slow/shorten when ambient temp nears body temp. Adjust the sensor angle flexibly for better performance.

Why does the light stay on constantly without motion-sensing function?

Check if it’s in override (constant-on) mode. To activate: Press the switch twice within 3s (stays on for 6hrs). To exit: Press once with >3s interval, or wait 6hrs for auto-exit to resume motion-sensing mode.

Can this light be ceiling-mounted? Why doesn’t the sensor work after ceiling installation?

It can be ceiling-mounted, but keep height ≤8.2ft. After mounting, rotate and adjust the sensor’s angle/direction to eliminate blind spots?this ensures the sensor works normally.
