Product description

Out with the ordinary ? A new Trail Ranger 35ºF Sleeping Bag matches your adventurously dirty lifestyle.

These Trail Ranger sleeping bags are inspired by the early 80’s color block snow jackets and topographic trail maps. The Topo bag uses Firebrush orange for the topographic lines.

Our Trail Ranger 35ºF sleeping bags are designed using rip-stop polyester for the outer shell and inner lining. If you happen to puncture the material or create a tear, the material is designed to resist ripping further until you can sew or patch the tear. The material also has a water-resistant coating.

Between the inner and outer layers, we’ve used a hi-loft hollow fibre polyester fill. Why? So many of our customers are overlanders and off-roaders that moisture can get on equipment when adventuring to their campsite. Polyester is more water-resistant than say a down filling. Plus, a synthetic polyester fill costs less, allowing us to keep the costs down, and thus the price as low as we can.

Lastly, zippers can make or break any equipment. We did not want to go cheap on the zipper and cause headaches for our customers. That is why our sleeping bags use YKK zippers so can be sure zipping up and down will actually zip up and down, and be able to do its duty for years to come.

For this launch, we designed the two sleeping bags we are releasing to be zipped up together. One zips up on the right side, the other on the left side. If you own both sleeping bag designs, you can zip them up together to create a more cozy two-person sleeping experience. The 1980 Trail Ranger is a right-hand bag.

We went with a generous size, but not too big for those of you sleeping in rooftop tents. We went with approximately 82.5″ long (top of mummy hood to foot) and 33.5″ wide. Plenty of space for most adults down to the smallest kid.
