The motion detection sensor will change the lights from low 50 lumens to high 400 lumens. The lights will stay on high 400 lumens as long as there is motion. It will go back to low 50 lumens after there is no motion for 40 seconds.
Mode I is low 50 lumens. Mode II is low 50 lumens plus the motion sensor is active and will turn on high 400 lumens when motion is detected.
Our lights are IP44 rated which is suitable for outdoor use. The only reason they are not rated higher is due to the USB-C charging port, ON-OFF switch, and Mode I and II switch under the heads. They cannot be submerged in water. Just don't use them underwater.
