How to Choose the Landscape Lighting Wire

COLOER Low Voltage LED Landscape Path Lights

To determine the transformer capacity required for a low-voltage lighting system, add the wattage of all the fixtures in the system and add 10% for cable and fixture connection wattage. If the total fixture load is too large, spread the total load over two transformers or use a larger transformer.

The smaller the wire gauge number, the larger the wire's load capacity. The total wattage of the lights should not exceed 80% of the load capacity ofthe wire.
